Working out in Farmington Hills, Michigan, is effective and fun at our Orangetheory Fitness center. Our convenient gym location is easy for commuters and professionals to get to, and students and parents can also make use of our early morning, midday and early evening workout sessions. Our facility features up-to-date equipment, high-tech heart rate monitors and spacious locker rooms for your comfort.

With your heart rate monitor on, you will perform a variety of interval-based exercises. In all, you will do about 30 different exercises, each for about two minutes. The 60-minute workout will raise your heart rate and metabolism. We keep things interesting by changing up the intervals from one session to another. This can help you stay challenged and motivated by your workout sessions.

Our gym instructors are prepared to aid you with using the equipment and achieving the correct form on each interval exercise. If you want to set goals for fitness, our trainers will take pleasure in helping you do so. Your instructors will coach you through each station, guide you on making the most of your time and encourage you to be strong during every workout.

All people benefit from participating in interval-based fitness sessions. Beginners will notice results quickly and can advance toward their weight loss and fitness goals. Intermediates and advanced athletes reap the benefits of working for all muscle groups and having a fast pace with different exercises during each visit with us.

Chris has been involved with fitness since a very young age.  His high school track & field coach at the time was a personal trainer who took him under his wing for all four years of high school.  Chris was very fortunate to have learned how to work out and train correctly at such a young age.  He received his NASM CPT certification shortly after high school and quickly began his career in fitness.  Being the competitor he is, Chris fell in love with the sport of fitness that is CrossFit.  He traveled and competed locally in CrossFit competitions and became heavily involved with the CrossFit community.  Chris has certifications in Olympic Weightlifting, CrossFit and Kettlebells on top of Group Exercise.  What Chris loves most about Orangetheory is how the workouts are designed to maintain a target heart rate zone that is backed by science to help stimulate metabolism and increase energy.

"Given enough time and money, your competitors can duplicate almost everything you've got working for you.  They can hire away some of your best people.  They can reverse engineer your processes. The only thing they can't duplicate is your culture." - George Bradt

COACH SUPPORT

Working out in a group provides accountability and structure to help achieve fitness goals. You are more likely to get a great workout and better results from the well-rounded movements and pace direction you get in a group setting. The session motivates each other to pick up the pace and reach beyond plateaus. People who workout in groups stick to their goals more consistently than those that workout alone.
